Join us for a special event with “the food science lady” herself, Shirley Corriher, as we celebrate the much-anticipated release of her newest book, Bakewise: The Hows and Whys of Successful Baking with Over 250 Magnificent Recipes.

You’ve seen her on Good Eats, and you refer to her Cookwise book anytime you need to refresh yourself on the hows and whys of everyday dishes (or figure out why that soufflé didn’t rise!). Now join her for a night of food and fun as we experience even more science in the kitchen. We’ll sample some delicious treats from the book prepared by members of Les Dames d’Escoffier, enjoy a demonstration from Shirley as well as her lively stories, and of course, we’ll have plenty of copies of Bakewise for everyone to get their personalized copy.
